A sole practitioner with the time and expertise to work up individual solutions.
We have the time:
The architecture practice now operates on a “part time” basis as we also spend time in property management. This does not mean we ignore our clients; nearly all our work involves periods of intense activity followed by time waiting for others to make decisions. With a lighter work load we’re normally able to carry out work promptly.
We have the experience:
Ian Rankin has a wealth of experience from a career in some of Glasgow’s best architectural practices plus time working in Africa. More recent projects involve supporting World Monuments Fund in conserving Zanzibar Cathedral, advising Glasgow Chinese Christian Fellowship in extensive repairs to their Glasgow listed tenement, working as a partner in Safi Homes when it carried out a small development of flats and completely renovating a historic cottage above Dunure as his new home.
Ian Rankin is a member of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland. and the Royal Institute of British Architects. “Architect” is a protected title; Ian Rankin’s right to use it can be checked on the ARB website architect list.
